To be considered eligible for induction in the Harrisburg Academy Athletics Hall of Fame, an individual or group must be a former student-athlete, coach, team, or friend of the athletics program.
Criteria for Student Athlete:
• Attended the Harrisburg Academy at least two years and excelled in one or more varsity sports
• Excelled in his or her respective sports at the Academy
• Good academic and social standing while at the Academy, and respected and valued by coaches, students, and faculty
• A productive and active member of the Academy community
• Separated from Harrisburg Academy for at least five years prior to being nominated for selection
• Nominees may be elected posthumously to the Athletics Hall of Fame
Criteria for Coach:
• Length of service to the Academy and outstanding leadership and coaching ability during his/her tenure, or
• Former Academy athletes who subsequently pursued coaching careers in high school, college, or the professional ranks
Criteria for Teams:
• An outstanding record of accomplishment in one or more seasons
Criteria for Friends of the Athletics Program:
• Those who make truly significant contributions to the Harrisburg Academy athletics program other than in the preceding categories (i.e., former trustees, administrators, teachers, school physicians/trainers, team managers, sports officials, and journalists)
