Our libraries exist to implement, enrich, and support the educational program and goals of the school. Whether working with groups or individuals, or assisting with research or leisure reading, the librarian’s role is to teach Information Literacy.

The Harrisburg Academy has two libraries: The Claire Reynolds Joyce Library for students in HATS through 4th grade, and the MS/US Library for 5th through 12th grade. Lower School students have regularly scheduled library periods during a six-day cycle. Students in 5th through 12th grade can visit the MS/US Library during free periods and study halls or before and after school.
