Catch the Spartan spirit!
Fall is in the air! And that means Harrisburg Academy
sports teams are busy. We invite you to catch
the Spartan spirit after school and during
Homecoming Weekend, September 29-30. Cheer on
our varsity girls' tennis team to another undefeated
season; watch the Middle School boys' soccer team,
which had a combined 20-2-3 record over the last
two years; support our field hockey teams as they
try to improve on last year's records; and check out
our new Middle School cross country club. See you
on the fields and on the courts!

| "It's A Boy!" |
 |
|
Psychologist and author Michael Thompson, who
spent a day at the Academy last spring, is now
conducting research for a new book, It’s a Boy!
. Dr. Thompson has invited Academy families and
faculty members to participate. His confidential online
survey has questionnaires for mothers, fathers,
teachers, high school boys, and younger boys. Filling
out a questionnaire takes about 20 minutes, and
most people who have filled them out find they lead
to self-reflection about boyhood and parenthood.
(Please note that boys under 18 need a parent to
sign and fax a permission form to participate.)
