Theory of Knowledge Seminar (TOK)
TOK unifies the various academic disciplines by exploring fundamental
questions, such as “What are the ways of knowing?” and “What are the areas of knowledge?”

The Extended Essay
In the summer following their junior year, diploma candidates undertake an independent research project and write a paper on a subject of their choice.

Creativity, Action, and Service (CAS)
A framework for experiential learning, CAS is designed to involve students in new roles. The emphasis is on learning by doing real
tasks that have real consequences and then reflecting on these experiences over time. This category includes the arts, athletics,
and community service.

Non-Diploma Opportunities
Students who choose not to pursue the full IB diploma may enroll in individual IB courses. The successful completion of each IB course results in an IB certificate, which may be used for credit or advanced placement in college.
