Harrisburg Academy established an Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of students, coaches, and friends of the Academy’s athletics programs. In 2010, we expanded the program to recognize alumni accomplishments in additional areas. The awards include Academic Achievement, Professional Achievement, Service to Humanity, and Rising Star.

We commend and congratulate our 2011 Alumni Achievement Awards recipients, who were honored along with the 2011 Athletics Hall of Fame inductees at a special Homecoming Weekend reception on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011.

The recipients of the 2011 Alumni Achievement Awards include:

Professional Achievement – Dr. Jeffrey Morrison '88
This award recognizes outstanding accomplishments by an individual in his or her career or professional life.

Service to Humanity – Dr. Kathryn J. Zerbe '69
This award recognizes an individual who in his or her personal or professional life has demonstrated a commitment to bettering the lives of others in their community, nation, or the world.

Rising Star – Dr. Zachery Scheiner '93
This award recognizes a young person who has demonstrated promise and achievement in his or her professional life.
