Alumni Survey 2011 – Highlights
• 89% said relationships with faculty contributed to their success. • 86% said Harrisburg Academy significantly prepared them for the life they are leading. • 81% feel a sense of pride toward Harrisburg Academy and enjoy hearing about the success of their classmates. • 73% feel alumni should be involved with career networking. • 70% said relationships with classmates significantly contributed to their preparation for college life. Open-Ended Response: “The overall culture of parents and students interested in education and achieving their goals prepared me for college life.”

…Additional comments and feedback: “I have always thought that the athletic programs could do much better. Improving the facility by having a weight room and developing a stronger feeder program would possibly increase enrollment.” “Have current students reach out and interview alumni as a way of adding content to the Academy News and provide the opportunity to network. I wish the Academy had a greater ethnic diversity.” “This was an interesting format for the Academy to try to rekindle alumni involvement. It worked for me! As a fine artist, it is often difficult for me to make substantial financial contributions, but I would be more than happy to share my work in an exhibition or display at the school.”
