EVALUATING WEBSITES
The Web has no “Editorial Board” therefore, websites should be evaluated with a critical eye. Many sites are self-published, or created for commercial or advertising purposes.
Critically evaluating the information found on a website is important. At the very least, a website should have an author, title, place of publication, publisher and date of creation. Ideally, full-text books and periodicals provide the most reliable information for research purposes.
