Tuition and Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid

Thank you for your interest in Harrisburg Academy for the 2011-12 school year. You may begin to apply for financial aid starting on November 15, 2010, as described below. To be eligible for consideration for financial aid at the Academy, you must complete your application by March 1, 2011.  We will communicate decisions about financial aid in March and April 2011 for those families who filed all application materials prior to the deadline.
We use School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial aid applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the financial information you provide, SSS gives us an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions. To begin your financial aid application for the 2011-12 school year, follow these steps below.

GUIDELINES

  • Financial aid is available primarily to United States citizens.
  • International students are eligible to receive financial aid.  However, Harrisburg Academy has limited funds available for this purpose.
  • Students in HATS are not eligible to receive financial aid.  However, Harrisburg Academy does have limited funds available for students enrolled in Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten.
  • Please refer to the SSS by NAIS information flyer for further details about the application process.
  • Any award that is made prior to receiving the 2010 tax return or income verification forms is tentative.  This documentation is required in order to make a final award of financial aid.
