Since 1784, Harrisburg Academy has helped our students to discover their inner strengths and to develop their abilities in all areas.  The Academy strives to encourage the development of well-rounded individuals and to help students learn to appreciate the importance of academics, arts, and athletics.

Harrisburg Academy is the oldest independent school in the Harrisburg metropolitan area, and we are so excited to continue to prepare our students to face the remarkable challenges of a global society.  We are presently divided into four divisions (Early Childhood, Lower School, Middle School and Upper School) on one main campus, serving approximately 420 students in preschool through 12th grade. Students arrive on our campuses daily from seven counties in Central Pennsylvania. The Academy's student population includes ethnic and international diversity of nearly 30 percent; a wide range of cultural and religious diversity is represented within the community as well. We also provide need-based tuition assistance to over 25 percent of our student body.
