7th Annual Harrisburg Academy Golf Classic – A Huge Success!
The Harrisburg Academy Golf Classic raises money for the Academy’s Scholarship Fund.  Each fall, a field of avid golf fans, exhibiting a wide range of ages and skills, tees off to enjoy a day of sport and fun.  In 2010, members of the Harrisburg Academy community, including parents, faculty, and alumni rallied to raise more than $12,000 for the Harrisburg Academy Scholarship Fund.  Sixty golfers successfully navigated the course at Blue Ridge Country Club on a windy but colorful fall day.  The patronage of players and businesses that sponsored numerous tee signs and raffle prizes added to the enjoyment and success of the tournament.

Congratulations to Greg Crandall (Boys' Varsity Soccer coach and father of Alan '19 and Erin '23), Paul Fisher (father of Lauren '23), Tim Dixon (father of Willow '23), and Brett Osborne (father of Ben '20 and Gretchen '23), for winning the tournament by a few strokes.  Special thanks to Jay Mowery (father of Laura '16 and Lee '14) for contributing the golf shoe bags as thank you gifts to all golfers and sponsors.
