Student Ambassador Profile: Seth E. '21

Seth E. '21 - Student AmbassadorWhat do you see as the strengths of Harrisburg Academy?
The Academy has offered me a great education in a setting that I feel comfortable in.  Secondly, the Academy gives everyone an opportunity to play sports, act, be part of the music program, and explore things that really interest them both in and out of class.  The diversity of students and the Academy families allows acceptance of all students without question.  I feel comfortable talking to my teachers and my friends' parents and know that doesn’t usually happen at other schools.

What are some of your favorite memories?
The C-SPAN Project with Ms. Bowman (8th grade), States Fair (4th grade), the annual “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” assembly, and the Upper School dodgeball tournaments.

How do you think the culture at Harrisburg Academy differs from other schools?
The Academy is an accepting community representing many cultures, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. The diversity of my peers is one of the things I enjoy most about the Academy.  I enjoy hearing about how they spend holidays, travel, and the sharing of ethnic foods.
