Summer at Harrisburg Academy provides campers with the opportunity to explore new interests, receive academic support, strengthen social and emotional skills, and make meaningful connections with students and teachers. They'll leave with friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
Even though school is not in session over the summer, Harrisburg Academy is still a busy place. Our Summer Expeditions Day Camp keeps students engaged and exploring all summer long. Our summer programming is open to the entire community! Registration is now OPEN!
Summer Expeditions Day Camp
Summer Expeditions Day Camp is for Junior Kindergarten through those entering 6th grade. Located on campus, Summer Expeditions Day Camp is a blend of summer recreational activities and enrichment programs based around a series of different sessions. Summer Expeditions Camp features two distinct divisions of campers, Early Explorers (younger division) and Adventure Seekers (older division). Summer Camp helps preschool through elementary school-age kids develop both socially and physically through organized recreation and positive encouragement.

Interested in the outdoors? Or perhaps acting? We have something for everyone through our Summer Session: MINI Camps and Classes! MINI Camps and Classes are week-long enrichment opportunities, offered in half-day or full-day sessions, depending on the coursework.
Tuition and registration instructions vary depending on the individual camp or program, so please refer to the individual camp descriptions below!
During these challenging times, it has been tough to keep active and make healthy choices. We invite your children to join us in our, FeelGood Vibes mini-camp. Within this camp we will learn and practice healthy eating habits, taking care of our bodies, and engaging in interactive exercise games without recognition! A healthy lunch will be created with the help of your children, each day during camp.
Campers new to programming will learn the basics using event-driven programming. During this 1 week camp, your camper will be challenged to think creatively and reason systematically to code stories, games, and even robots.
Take your skills to the next level and learn how to rock like a pro! Learn technique on your axe of choice (including vocals), how to pick and learn songs, how to be in a band, and get actual experience being in a rock band with other campers. You’ll work with real pros who have been on the stage, in the studio, and in the practice room. If you sing or play guitar, bass, or keys, this is the camp for you!
