Upper School Course Catalog

Harrisburg Academy's college-prep academic program strives to promote in each student healthy lifestyle choices and to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning that sets the foundaiton and provides the opportunity for a life both individually fulfilling and intrinsically valuable to the larger society.  Our curriculum is sequential from Kindergarten through 12th grade, and course offerings and content are systematically evaluated by the academic department chairpersons to ensure that the students are exposed to appropriate topics in an exceptional manner.

IB Diploma Program General Regulations

Students pursuing an International Baccalaureate Diploma or Certificate should be familiar with the General Regulations.  These guidelines will also be discussed with students and parents in individual planning meetings.  The IB offers high-quality and challenging education programmes for a worldwide community of schools, and provides a range of materials to support the goal of creating a better, more peaceful world.  Click to access the IB General Regulations.

National Honor Society Nomination and Selection Process

The purpose of National Honor Society (NHS) is to promote academic excellence, develop character and leadership through example, and encourage empathy with and service to others.  Membership in NHS is an honor and a privilege. It is not a right and is not guaranteed by high scholastic standing alone.  Click here to download full information on the nomination process and guidelines.  Please note -- these guidelines supercede those listed in the currently posted Student Handbook.
