Cameron Clark

University of Colorado at Boulder (College of Engineering and Applied Science)

Engineering

Cameron Clark ’17 maximized the many advantages of Harrisburg Academy’s learning journey by attending from preschool through 12th grade — and was recognized as a 16-year-student for this committed enrollment.

Cameron demonstrated great success in math and science at the Academy, and earned a silver medal on the National Spanish Exam during his senior year.  He was named a National Merit Scholarship Commended Scholar and was chosen as a Carlisle Sentinel Teen of the Week.  An accomplishment for which Cameron is particularly proud is earning Boy Scouts of America’s highest honor, Eagle Scout, a rank only 4 percent of all Boy Scouts achieve.

During his later years at the Academy, Cameron also came to embody the term “student athlete.”  On the soccer field and in the pool, Cameron was a fierce competitor.  He broke nearly every swim record during his senior year.  On the soccer field, Cameron played midfield and lead his team to several winning seasons.

Cameron will continue to grow all of these skills next year while studying engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder, ranked Very Competitive by Barron’s Profiles of American Colleges.  The University of Colorado is also ranked worldwide as #185 of more than 500 Engineering & Technology programs by 2017 QS University Ranking.
