Make a Difference

Like all independent schools, Harrisburg Academy relies on annual gifts from its community to help bridge the gap between revenue from tuition and the total operating budget. Maintaining low tuition costs is important so that we can offer the best private school education to qualified applicants who otherwise could not afford it, allowing for the diverse school community we now enjoy.
Today, tuition revenue only pays for part of the educational experience we provide – the balance comes from the Academy Fund, the fundraising focus of our Development and Alumni Relations Office. People from across the Academy community – parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, friends, and more – contribute to the Academy Fund, which helps the school attract and support the most talented students and teachers.

Why Donate?

The Academy Fund is different in that donations can be used to enhance existing Academy programs, including technology, financial aid, faculty professional development, athletics, and community service. Endowment funds generate income for restricted programs, like faculty compensation or specific scholarships; therefore, strong support of the Academy Fund is critical and should be considered the first priority in giving to the Academy.
