Make a Difference

More than 225 years ago, John Harris Jr charted Harrisburg Academy’s future. His vision and philanthropic support were instrumental in transforming the Academy into the area’s only independent, nonsectarian, coeducational day school.
Like an invisible thread connecting the past to the present, the John Harris Circle links the legacy of John Harris, Jr. with today’s leadership Academy Fund donors. By joining together, John Harris Circle members are honoring the legacy of the Academy’s greatest benefactor and helping establish a new tradition to inspire others.

We invite you to join the John Harris Circle today.

Why Donate?

The Academy Fund is different in that donations can be used to enhance existing Academy programs, including technology, financial aid, faculty professional development, athletics, and community service. Endowment funds generate income for restricted programs, like faculty compensation or specific scholarships; therefore, strong support of the Academy Fund is critical and should be considered the first priority in giving to the Academy.
