Middle & Upper School Open House

At Harrisburg Academy, our faculty are dedicated to making each student's experience productive and rewarding. Students approach learning conceptually rather than thematically, allowing them to make connections across all subjects through examination of real-world situations in a local, national, and global context.

Our Middle School Program teaches communication, research and social skills, and critical thinking, all of which we believe are key to future success. As part of our academic program, students learn how to reflect on their own learning and how to become their own advocate throughout the process.

Our Upper School program fosters development of skills that our students will need at the university level and beyond. Throughout their high school years, our students hone their researching and writing skills, improve upon time management skills, and truly discover how they learn best.

Join us on Saturday, March 18 at 10 a.m. on campus to discover the difference an Academy education can make! Registration is required and can be completed here.

    Puberry Workshop

    @ Meeting Room
    Hello, HA students and families!
I am a former Harrisburg Academy student (K-8th grade) that just completed my Master’s in Business Analytics at Columbia University and have founded an EdTech startup called Puberry.
Puberry is an EdTech puberty curriculum that is revolutionizing the way youth learn about their health. We are like DuoLingo for puberty! Our goal is to enable youth to feel prepared, supported, and confident.

On March 23rd we will be offering an introductory session to Puberry at 2:45 p.m. for students and families.  Students in grades 3 and above are welcome to attend this session in the Meeting Room, which will run about an hour.  Students in MS/US who have an X block study hall (2:25-3:10) can sign out with parent permission and a completed Google Form (link below).  All attendees are encouraged to bring a computer or iPad.

We will lead one introductory puberty lesson, share some fun goodies and swag, including a Puberty prep-kit, while creating a fun and interactive experience for everyone!

We would love it if you would join and share your feedback as we continue to build out the product and value your support!

We’ve also user-tested our mobile and web versions with students and parents from other schools where we received immense, positive feedback, and kids really enjoyed playing the Puberry games while learning!

If you have any questions and/or would like more detail, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email or phone (found below).  If you are ready to sign-up, please fill out this Google form: https://forms.gle/SXV81UTby7gvwoU67

I look forward to meeting you and having a fun workshop together!
