"Dear Academy Families, Alumni, and Friends,
With deepest gratitude, we write to share that Associate Director of Development, Corporate Engagement Vicki DiSylvester will be retiring from the Academy on Friday, September 9. She does so with a desire to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
As a Harrisburg native, Ms, DiSylvester attended school at Bishop McDevitt. Throughout her professional career, she strived to serve others throughout the capital city region as she worked for the American Red Cross, Channels Food Rescue, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Heart Association. In 2017, Vicki began her Academy journey as our Associate Director of Development, Corporate Engagement. Her distinguished service to our community is marked by the relationships she has forged and the community she has created, both on and off-campus. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and smile will certainly be missed as she begins this next chapter of her life.
Vicki’s dedication to Harrisburg Academy’s mission is visible in all she does. As Director of Development and Alumni Relations Stacy Klann noted, “I am grateful for Vicki’s commitment to our students and to the Academy. Vicki has been an ideal partner in the school’s fundraising efforts, and I am thankful for her efforts in building a foundation for our team to capitalize on in the future.”
To prepare for Vicki’s retirement, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations has welcomed Siena McLees, Development Associate, and Christopher Zyroll, Development Coordinator, who arrived prior to the start of the school year. We look forward to seeing all they will accomplish under the department’s new structure. Over the next several days, we hope you will take the opportunity to join us in celebrating and thanking Vicki for her service to Harrisburg Academy!
