It's Official!

It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce Harrisburg Academy received word from the International Baccalaureate Organization that we are now a fully authorized Primary Years Programme School!

 

Achieving full authorization is an important milestone for our Early Childhood and Lower School students and we are so proud of all of their work this year. As noted in the IB’s report following authorization, “The school has further adapted learning experiences to engage students in reflecting on how, what and why they are learning.” During this year’s learning celebrations such as the Wax Museum, States Fair, Market Day, Farmers Market, and PYP Exhibition, we could not agree more with the IB’s assessment of how our students have truly found the joy in learning.
